Purpose: To demonstrate that tje direction of a magnetic field near a current carrying wire is dependent on current direction. |

Description: |

The Oersted's Law Apparatus consisting of a thick wire with a large spinning compass needle situated near it to tell the direction of the induced magnetic field. Hook up a 5-10A power source to show the effect for each direction of flowing current. |
