Quantum Monte Carlo algorithms and other numerical methods for both condensed matter and
optical lattice systems.
Applications of quantum Monte Carlo and other numerical techniques to real systems to study strong correlation effects,
transport properties, disorder effects, spin-orbit coupling effects, and quantum entanglement properties, etc. The systems
include atomic/molecular optical lattices, topological superconductors related to the fabrication of stable topological quantum computers,
spin-orbit coupled systems, dipolar systems with long-range anisotropic interactions, nano materials, fullerene molecules and solids,
liquid hydrogen, and high Tc materials.
Improving numerical simulation efficiency with various parallel computing techniques, such as MPI, OpenMP, GPU, etc.
