Our meetings are held on alternate Wednesdays at 7:00 pm in Robeson Hall, Room TBA. (We will email the listserv the new room number when it becomes available.) Important business will be discussed with the club. Following the meetings, the club sometimes takes a trip to the Prices Fork Observatory. If you are in need of a checkout session, you can always get one after a meeting. After that, you need only to pay dues to receive your keypass, allowing you to use the observatory any time of day or night. Sometimes we do fun stuff at the meetings too, such as astrophotography slide shows or movie nights. If you have ideas for meeting topics, by all means let the officers know and we'll schedule it. To find out when the next club meeting will take place, contact the President directly
(see officers) or join the
listserv and ask the club members.
Dues: Only $10 for the year. We take cash and checks made
out to "Astronomy Club of Virginia Tech". We use this money
for trips, equipment for the club and the occasional star party.
