E14: Charge Flow in a Conductor |
Purpose: To demonstrate the random motion of electrons travelling through a conductor |
Description: |
Roll out the bed of nails on a large dolley which can be fixed at an angle. Pour the whole bag of small balls into the bed of nails at the top. Watch the random motion of the balls as the make their way down to the bottom. This is an analogy to electrons moving through a conductor. |
