Lecture Presentation Computer

The computer in CHEMP 130 is a Windows based system. It has a dual video display system that is can be used as an extended desktop or as two independent displays. The system has a DVD player, externally powered USB hub, wireless mouse and keyboard. The wireless mouse and keyboard are locked in the cabinet on the far right of the Lecture computer table. The key to the cabinets is stored in CHEMP 130A:Cabinet I1. Please relock the cabinet and return the key to its storage location when finished.

Each instructor should log into the computer system as they would from their regular desktop machine. It is recommend that instructors store their files on the scratch drive or on a USB flash drive. It is not recommended that instructor store permenently files on this computer.

The video switch is used to select an input that will be displayed on the right computer monitor. See Video Switch for more details.
