Lab 2: Motion in One Dimension Part 2

Transition notes:

  1. All of the ball droppin' equipment that is used in lab 1 should be put away.
  2. The motion detector, 45cm rod, and meter stick will remain.

  8. Fan Cart Charger Do not plug this in over the power switch!

Notes and tests:

  1. Plug the fan cart in early while setting up so that it has some charge for testing.
  2. Start “2305 Lab 2 test Motion in One Dimension Part 2.cap” from 'Class Notes\Test Files\2305 Tests\'. Make sure the motion detector switch is set to narrow/cart range, and unplug the fan cart. Start recording data and pulse the fan cart. Note: The fan cart will not function while plugged in.
  3. The angle indicator should be on the same side of the table as the elevation rod.
