Astronomy Minor: Astro Club
Astronomy Club
Virginia Tech has an active Astronomy Club open to all interested students, irrespective of major. (There are also some active non-students among the membership!) The club organizes annual trips to visit large astronomical sites in the region. In addition, the club provides the official mechanism by which students may learn to use the Prices Fork Observatory and thereby gain access to its instruments outside of structured course work.

Professor John Simonetti (231-8740, 319 Robeson Hall, jhs@vt.edu) is the faculty advisor to the Astronomy Club. For further information see the Astronomy Club web page.
