Cannon Visualizer Document Camera

The Cannon Visualizer RE-450X (manual) can be used to display transparencies, plain paper documents and small pieces of equipment. It can serve the function of a tradional overhead transparency project it also has many other uses. Use room lighting setting #2 for optimum viewing. See Lutron lighting controller for more details on light choices.

Set the video switch to PC2 and select "Document Camera" on the Crestron controller.

The power on indicator is on the front display panel. The actual power switch is a rocker switch on the left side.

Use the backlight for viewing transparencies. Use the fluorescent light for plain paper documents and other viewing.

Use the zoom feature to magnify and frame the item to be displayed. Most of the time the auto focus feature works well. For viewing small pieces of equipment it is sometime better to turn off the auto focus and manually focus on the object. The auto white balance and auto exposure generally work fine for most viewing.
