This website serves as a location where Dr. Shengfeng Cheng's (Virginia Tech) and Dr. Klebert Feitosa's
(James Madison University) research group can store relevant information for their
work on the physics of bubbles so that it can be accessed by them at any time. This page also serves as a launching
point for other researchers who may be interested in researching the mechanics of bubbles.
The type of bubble most familiar is the liquid-gas bubble, in which a gas is
encapsulated by a liquid. This encapsulating liquid can be the entirety of the exterior volume, a thin-film which
is itself encapsulated in a gas, or a combination of those two (meaning a bubble on the surface of a liquid).
