The following Java applet is a hybrid of the Spectral Trough ID program with added functionality. The user can use a combination of power law, Gaussian and spline fits to interactively model the continuum, then save the normalized spectrum for use with other programs.

At this stage of development, the applet is intended to allow the user to upload an SDSS .fit file or (x,y) data .txt file, model the continuum, then export the relative intensity in the form of IDL arrays.
